Candymaker stores truffles in a bank vault

As Hurricane Katrina swept through Florida, a local chocolatier had to think fast.
Worried about losing her stock of temperature-chocolate when the power went out
Jan of Jan's Homemade Candies in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, called the Colonial Bank
in Sea Ranch Lakes. The bank had power and let her put two thousand pounds of truffles,
cream, and over meltable treats in their vault thereby saving $8500 worth of chocolate
and perhaps Jan's business. What the article doesn't say, and what I'd love to know,
is if the money ended up smelling like chocolate.
